KYLE EPPLING |
On the night of August 27, 2012 Kyle Eppling was in the parking lot of Oakland Plantation Apartments talking with a few friends, and suddenly gunshots rang out. Kyle Eppling was fatally wounded while talking with his friends and witnesses said they saw someone dressed in dark clothing with a scarf over their face running from the scene carrying a handgun. |

On August 18, 2008, Charles Way was found shot to death in his residence, located at 65 Grace Lane, Sumter, South Carolina. |
JERVENTEZ DUARTE WILSON |
On August 1, 2008 the victim Jerventez Wilson was robbed at gun point and shot while visiting Cubbage Mobile Home Park located in Dalzell, S.C. Jerventez Wilson later died from the gun shot wound. |
JOSEPH LETREZ BROOKS |
On December 3, 2008 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 1:44 a.m. unknown person(s) entered the residence of Joseph Brooks located in the 7000 block of Richbow Road in the community of Horatio in Sumter County and shot him to death. |
PETE OSTEEN |
On May 2, 2002, Pete Osteen was reported missing by his family after he left on May 1 to go to out of town but never arrived at his destination. He had last been seen driving his burgundy and black Chevrolet pick-up. On May 11, 2002, Osteen’s body and pick-up truck were found in a barn in the Dalzell area. |

On March 25, 2005, at approximately 8:15 pm, this subject was driving a white 1993 Chevrolet van with Florida tags Northbound on Interstate 95 when it wrecked and killed him. Many attempts were made by the coroner and members of our office to identify this person but we have had no luck as yet. |

On April 3, 1992, James Andrews and his son Kenneth Andrew were found murdered at their convenience store, Kwik Fare, located at the intersection of Pinewood Road and Kolb Road in Sumter County. The victims were shot with a .38 caliber weapon. It is believed the murders took place between 10:00 pm and 11:15 pm. |
